This proofreading practice set is designed to give students extensive practice proofreading typical business documents. For each of the 40 jobs, students proofread a business document and correct errors using standard proofreaders' marks. Assignments include errors in keyboarding, grammar and punctuation, format and content.
The set includes these features:
- Several jobs require students to use references or source copy.
The order of assignments can be adapted to meet course goals.
- The documents used in the set are realistic business doucments.
The Instructor's Key provides a correctly marked copy of each assignment. The Instructor's Key provides suggestions for grouping assignments for emphasis in continuity of business communications, formatting skills, or concentration skills.
