Typing for Accuracy, one of our most popular textbooks, provides 90 practice drills specifically designed to help students break bad keyboarding habits and in the process improve both smoothness and accuracy. These drills may be used either sequentially as part of a full basic keyboarding course or individually as supplemental practice. Two easy-to-read flysheet indexes located both in the front and the back of the book make it easy for students to find drills for particular letters and letter combinations.
Each unit is designed to fit on one sheet. The top right corner of every page contains comments and suggestions to guide the student before they begin the lesson. Most units consist of eighteen lines of words or sentences. Following every unit is an Optional Practice exercise designed to extend and review the material in the unit itself.
Designed for use with either the typewriter or the keyboard, Typing for Accuracy developes concentration and skill mastery--qualities that lead to improved accuracy.

TO BUILD RHYTHM AND ACCURACY
In this section, you focus on using keys
that are next to each other (adjacent strokes).
You also practice reach strokes. Word
practice focuses on specific letter
combinations and on the keys in each row of the
keyboard. Sentences are included to help build
fluency with these strokes.

TO CORRECT STROKING FAULTS
These units focus on practice with three
kinds of letter combinations that often
lead to keyboarding error:
2-letter sequences (such as ac, ch) from
which one letter is often inadvertently
omitted
2 letters that tend to cause substitution
errors if they appear close together in a
word or sentence (such as a-e, d-c)
2 letter combinations that are often
transposed (such as a/h, g/n)
